Problem
The company had amassed a plethora of design assets, including multiple logo variations, color palettes, and font choices. This lack of cohesion resulted in confusion among consumers and diluted the brand's impact.
While the company had basic brand guidelines in place, they lacked specificity and failed to address the nuanced requirements of various communication channels. This led to deviations from the brand's intended image and voice.
Solution
The first step involved consolidating diverse design assets into a cohesive brand identity system. This entailed selecting a primary logo variant, refining the color palette to align with the company's values, and standardizing typography across all communication channels.
Next, I worked closely with the marketing team to develop a unified messaging framework that encapsulated the brand's essence and value proposition. By crafting a consistent narrative across all touchpoints, from website copy to sales collateral, we ensured that every interaction reinforced the brand's core message.
To empower internal stakeholders and external partners in upholding the newly established brand identity, I revamped the brand guidelines. These updated guidelines provided detailed instructions on logo usage, color specifications, tone of voice, and more, serving as a comprehensive reference for maintaining brand consistency.
